This plywood Marionette mannequin is two-dimensional and comprised of ten elements of cut out half inch plywood pieces, connected with bolts and wing nuts. It would probably been an artist mannequin that would have be used in a print shop or for an artist studio. It has fully manoeuvrable limbs whereby it can be manipulated into a number of positions for an ever changing piece of art. It was made around the 1970s and could be attributed to Mario Ceroli though it has no attribution marks.
There are blemishes and marks on the wood but this kind of wear is consistent with age and usage. Please view the photos as they form part of the condition report.
