This mirror is from around the early 20th century. It has a simple and decorative motif carved into the top section which is innovative of the Arts and Craft movement aesthetic design. This movement Arts was about going back to the usage of traditional craftsmanship used during the medieval and romantic styles of decoration. Essentially this movement was the root of todays modern style.
This mirror is attractive and unique it would look beautiful in any home.
The mirror is in an overall good condition. It had been painted white by a previous owner though this has been stripped so that the original dark wood can be seen. The paint has left some white blemishes in the wood grain but nothing distinctive. Wear is also consistent with age and usage so please view the photos as they form part of the condition report.
