BLACK 1001 THOUSAND & ONE LONDON DESK LAMP LTD

Additional information: The attribution mark (makers mark) is on the inside of the lamp as shown in the photos. The 1001 desk lamp was designed to have a larger shade than its brother the Angle-poise lamp – which means that it allows more light to be radiated out. The black steel metal structure and the mechanical design are a classic design feature from the 1960s.

Condition: The lamp shade stays in position wherever you place it. The arms are fully functional allowing he light shade to be movable so that you can direct the light around. There are signs os usage and age through scuffs and dents which is normal for object because of its age and the way it was used. The springs are in good condition and the lamp arms work. In addition, the lamp light has been fully restored so that it is functional as it has been re-wired to be in working condition.
