An interesting Victorian brass mounted and ebonised mahogany desk tidy circa 1860. This desk tidy has two pen rests on either side of the unit, a central brass handle and two beautifully thick cut-glass bottles that are heavy to handle with brass lids. Both glass inkwells are in a good condition.
The desk tidy is missing its draw and it has a few scratches and marks from years of usage and wear. The metal parts have minor wear and some old patina. The glass inkwells are in good condition and their lids are functional. Please view the photos are they form part of the condition report.
